New Fuel-Efficient Tractor Units Join Thamesdown Fleet

We at Thamesdown have recently replaced 2 older lorries on our fleet with 2 new DAF Tractor units.

These new tractor units give up to 10% fuel efficiency gain due to the low vehicles weight, updated driver assistant systems & new aerodynamic cab design.

The units are not only more fuel efficient but they also excel in road safety, as these new tractor units have larger windows and kerb view windows to maximise direct and indirect vison.

Other features to these new tractor units include forward collision warning, brake assistance, lane departure warning system, city turn assist and much more.

The new generation DAF XL Model was also awarded the Green Truck Award 2023.
